Our client is seeking a self-motivated and proactive HR Assistant to join this small, dedicated team in a fast-paced environment.
If you are able to provide crucial administrative support to the HR Manager and the rest of the team, and can bring an organised, efficient and dedicated service, this could be a perfect role for you!
Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis. This role will start immediately, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.
Temporary HR Assistant Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with new starters, including documentation checks, training arrangements and offer letter distribution
- Monitor and process leavers and ensure the correct procedures are followed
- HR filing
- Ensure all employee files are correct and up to date. Maintain both systems and HR records
- Spreadsheet management
- Liaising with the HR team to ensure employment contracts are drafted, approved, sent to candidates and returned
- Support the HR, Recruitment and Payroll teams with gathering information required
- Perform any other duties commensurate with the role as required and directed by the HR Manager

- Previous experience within HR administration
- Fantastic organisational and time management skills
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in MS Excel
