Temporary Hr Assistant

We have registered an exciting opportunity working with this innovative client in South Oxfordshire. Supporting the current team for at least three months with a range of HR tasks, this position will suit an experienced HR Assistant who is free at short notice.

If you are looking for a full-time role (37 hours per week), and can work in our client s incredible office, five days per week, this could be the ideal role for you.

Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis. The role will start quickly, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.

Temporary HR Assistant Responsibilities

• Acting as the main point of contact for general HR queries
• Inbox management; actioning post and emails; filing, scanning and photocopying
• Handling reference checks
• Monitoring the probation process
• Entering data onto the HR system; ensuring records are current; maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
• Inputting absences, chasing leave forms
• Arranging meetings and taking minutes
• Maintaining the HR intranet
• Supporting the team with any other administrative tasks they require

Temporary HR Assistant Requirements

• Previous administrative experience gained in an HR function
• Great IT skills, specifically with Microsoft Office
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Able to prioritise and meet deadlines
• Experience of using HRIS would be ideal
• A general understanding of employment law would be advantageous
