The Trainee HR Manager Opportunity:
Due to continuing business success, we now have a fantastic opportunity available for an enthusiastic HR professional to join our team at Currie Motors in Twickenham. You will report directly to the HR Director to provide a comprehensive HR service across our multi-sited business. This role will suit a Human Resources Generalist/Senior Advisor looking to move into a management role.
With the guidance of the HR Director and support of a HR Coordinator you will be responsible for all aspects of employee process and practice, compliance with employment law, and developing a positive working culture in line with our Company goals. You will also coordinate the groups Health and safety contractor schedules.
This role is Office based in Twickenham and will require travel to our dealerships in Kingston, Isleworth and Great West Road.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Providing guidance and advice to employees and managers on all aspects of employment and HR related issues such as equal opportunities, terms and conditions, leave, pay and benefits
+ Implementing and developing HR processes and procedures to ensure consistency, compliance with employment law, GDPR and effective management of the HR function
+ Managing all aspects of employee lifecycle, including induction and leaver processes
+ Providing advice and guidance on employee performance management and support managers in the administration of performance evaluations
+ Handling and overseeing employee relations, including managing absence, disciplinary and performance issues, investigating and resolving employee grievances, complaints and disputes
+ Making contractual changes which may involve staff consultations
+ Managing HR records, providing reports, information and recommendations to management on key HR metrics
+ Overseeing all reward and recognition activities - long service awards, salary review and contractual changes
+ Assisting in any Training and L&D requirements
+ Taking on HR related projects as directed
About you:
+ CIPD Level 5 or above (or working towards)
+ A Full clean Driving Licence is Essential
+ A flexible, well organised approach with the ability to multitask and manage varying priorities and deadlines to meet the needs of the business
+ Previous Human Resources operational knowledge of applying HR practices, policies and procedures throughout an organisation. knowledge of UK employment legislation is important
+ Confidence and assurance which will enable you to be an effective negotiator and affect change and behaviours within HR and influence at all levels of the business
+ Excellent administrative, numerical and communication skills.
+ You will have ability to develop relationships with all levels in the organisation
