Engineering company based in Sunbury require a CIPD qualified part or full time HR manager to join their team. Salary up to £55,000 FTE with outstanding benefits including annual bonus, private healthcare, generous pension scheme and life assurance.
The HR Manager will join a friendly team, working in modern, luxurious offices with breakout rooms, including pool tables and coffee machines on a part time basis, hours can be flexible.
HR Manager duties:
- Ensuring existing HR documents are up to date
- updating new legal compliance
- procedural updates
- Management of the recruitment and selection process
- Induction of new starters
- Process all Leavers
- Assess staff training needs and development - apply and monitor training programs
- Maintaining the salary plan
- Maintaining / reviewing / updating the benefits program
- Overseeing / managing an appraisal system to drive higher performance
- Bridging management/employee relations by addressing demands/grievances/issues
- Staff communications
- Absence monitoring
- Maintaining staff records
- Appraisals
- (Payroll)
- Ad hoc Project work to support management division
HR Manager wider responsibilities:
- Keeping up with the market (reviewing policies to attract or retain employees)
- Supporting current/future management strategy/vision/values/business
- Dealing with internal change (HR initiatives aligned to business/HST strategy)
- Developing/engaging/motivating/preserving human capital (meeting staff needs as they grow eg: flexible working hour initiatives)
- Nurturing a positive working environment
- Following latest developments in effective people management
Hours: Ideally 5 shorter days, but there is flexibility and could also look at 4 days. This is an office based role.
