I am recruiting for an experienced Transport & Office Administrator for a leading UK construction company who specialises in builders work, groundwork and framework. This is a Monday to Friday position, working 40 hours per week with a 1-hour lunch break.
Main duties:
- Office management including office and H&S administration, stationary orders & managing cleaning supplies
- Managing the vehicle fleet, updating MOT sheets, Dartford charge, congestion charge, completing daily fleet EX checks, FORS Compliance
- Managing all on and off hires for vehicles, including vehicle transfers
- Day to Day invoicing
- Liaise with sites and other departments regarding their transport needs
- Maintaining records of deliveries/collections, keeping the system up to date and all files
- Scheduling drivers’ routes
- Communicating with sites about their deliveries/collections to ensure that they are aware of any delays in arrival times or issues with their orders
Key requirements:
- Previous plant/construction/logistics experience - essential
- FORS compliance (fleet operator recognition scheme) experience - essential
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Organised and able to prioritise workloads when working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team player
