We are looking for an Account Executive to join our highly reputable company on a 14-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, nurturing, and developing new business leads to support the development of sales pipelines for existing and new programmes. This role does not involve line management responsibility but requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

- Develop a personal understanding of defined sectors to cultivate new business opportunities for apprenticeship and work-based learning programmes.
- Generate new leads that contribute to specific target markets and business development strategies.
- Report on new leads and progress of conversations as required.
- Ensure records and systems are fully updated, including full use of the CRM for recording lead generation activities.
- Coordinate contract negotiations with customers, escalating to colleagues as required.
- Work with the Business Operations team to ensure smooth transitions through admissions and business processes.
- Maintain knowledge of processes and compliance issues, including Apprenticeship funding rules.
- Keep up to date with developments in work-based learning and target sectors/regions.
- Organise and plan own workload to meet response KPIs and other deadlines.
- Respond to incoming enquiries, maintaining high levels of customer service.
- Attend and support relevant meetings and events as required.
- Comply with Data Protection and other legal requirements in all working practices.
- Degree or part-qualified in a relevant professional qualification, or demonstrable experience with evidence of continuing professional development.
- Ideally to have a driving licence and have access to a car
- Experience in a commercial role with customer-facing/support experience.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and MS Teams.
- Success in working to targets within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Technical capability to work with data and engage fully with systems.
- Capability to engage with a variety of digital and social media professionally.
- Willingness to develop knowledge of apprenticeships.
