Accounts Apprentice

Page Personnel are recruiting for an Accounts Apprentice role on behalf of a growing automotive repair business based in Atherton.

The purpose of this role is to assist in managing the businesses transactional finance across multiple sites with most focus being on purchase ledger. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody at the start of their finance career to join a business offering study support.

Our client is a growing automotive repair business who recently expanded to 14 sites across the UK with plans for a further 4 new sites in 2024.

Description

Accounts Apprentice duties include:

• Completing Daily bank reconciliations
• Inputting invoices on the system
• To complete purchase ledger month end statement reconciliations
• Process monthly petty cash transactions
• Dealing with invoicing queries
• Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers
• Taking care of adhoc administrative tasks
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Have a desire to pursue a career in finance
• Be studying or have a desire to study AAT
• Be an excellent written and verbal communicator
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Be able to work to tight deadlines
• Sage experience would be beneficial

Job Offer

A salary up to £23,000 based on experience, pension, parking, holidays & more.
