Accounts Assistant - Part-time (20 - 30 hours per week).

Stevenage, Herts

£24,000 per annum (12-month contract)

Based in Stevenage, this role is offered as a Part time position (20 - 30 hours per week) and a 12-month contract initially with a hybrid working model (after probation) with time spent both at the office in Stevenage and at home.

The key element of the role will be to ensure that purchase ledger invoices are processed in line with company targets. You will be expected to build strong working relationships with operational areas of the business to promote cross company working.

Duties will include:

• Purchase Ledger: Posting of purchase ledger invoices, including coding and authorisation.
• Document scanning of all invoices onto the system.
• Sales Ledger: Raise sales invoices daily, producing and sending files for transmission.
• Receipts: Allocating of receipts against purchase invoices raised by key customers.
• Credit Control: Assist in chasing of debt and reconciling accounts.
• Assist with any other ad-hoc duties as required.

Other key elements will include the ability to pick up and learn new systems quickly.
