The role

- Diary Management and scheduling meetings
Administrative Proficiency - Strong administrative skills are a must, including proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office suite, Google Workspace, and database management.
Communication skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for liaising with colleagues, councillors, and members of the public.
Organisation & Time management - The ability to prioritise tasks effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines is crucial in a fast-paced council environment.
Attention to detail - Accuracy in record-keeping, data entry, and documentation is vital to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
Customer Service - A customer-centric approach is necessary for dealing with inquiries from residents, businesses, and other stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.
