Role: Technical Asset Manager

Location: London

Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 based on experience with flexible working

Comanos, part of the Cobalt Group, is working with a well-established assent manager who provides sustainable fund offerings and direct investments for investors. This prestigious and progressive client is looking for a Technical Asset Manager to manage and optimize BESS assets within their New Energy division, ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and sustainable returns amidst the evolving UK energy market.

Day to day responsibilities:

• Manage total portfolio availability and oversee PAC / IAC & FAC processes.
• Supervise onsite operations and maintenance providers, including regulatory compliance and health & safety management.
• Report, analyze, and model BESS assets' performance.
• Provide physical operations and technical support, including SCADA system use, market analysis, and site visits.
• Ensure compliance with technical and operational obligations.
• Coordinate projects and subcontractors with regular site visits.
• Collaborate with other Asset Managers to optimize overall asset performance.

Required skills and qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in renewable energy, preferably with BESS exposure.
• Engineering background preferred; proficiency in handling large volumes of data and conducting detailed analysis.
• Familiarity with general office systems, and business information management including knowledge of BESS systems, Python, MySQL, or other programming languages is advantageous.
• Numerical rigor demonstrated through technical, financial, or scientific background.
