The School of Society and Culture in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Business is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced administrator to join us. We are responsible for providing a high standard of administrative services to the School and want a highly motivated, well-organised person to join us in the post of Assistant Administrator (School Office). Under the direction of the Senior Support Administrator you will provide routine administrative support to the academic staff, students and external stakeholders of the school of Society and Culture. Duties will include email management from the generic school account, pay claims for Associate Lecturers, students and Visiting Specialists. You will also provide excellent customer service to the school by arranging meetings, taking minutes, organising student fieldtrips, processing orders, invoices and other types of administrative support as required. You will need to be a team player and engage in collaborative tasks across the school and Faculty, offering support and guidance to colleagues. You can expect support in terms of your personal and professional development, and opportunities to gain experience in a wide range of School and Faculty projects. You will need to be flexible and, on occasion, able to work between our various school departments located on the Main Campus. This is a part-time position working 18.5 hours per week (Mon – Weds) on a permanent basis.
