Our client, a leading London university, are recruiting for a temporary Student Services Assistant to start as soon as possible and run for one month, in the first instance. This is a full-time role (35 hours p/w) and will be based on-site, in South-West London.
The purpose of this role is to deliver effective information and enquiry services to potential applicants and current students with welfare and other needs. You will respond to telephone, personal, social media and email queries as well as maintaining an effective system for recording each case and action taken. You will also provide administrative support to the team, including booking appointments and collating feedback from service users.
In order to be considered for this role, you will have experience in a similar post, with strong customer service and administration skills, ideally from a Higher Education environment. With the ability to deal with a range of complex issues simultaneously, you will also need strong IT skills and competency with MS Office.
