Responsibilities:
- Monitor student attendance and punctuality.
- Work closely with parents, students, and teaching staff to improve attendance rates.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and follow-up actions.
- Collaborate with external agencies and social workers as needed.
- Implement the school's attendance policy effectively.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and guidance.
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS:
All candidates must have an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. - Experience:
Prior experience dealing with school attendance is essential. - Software Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). - Communication:
Excellent written and spoken English. - Systems Knowledge:
Familiarity with school management systems (e.g., SIMS) is essential.
