Our client is a small business based in Leamington Spa, who are looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Administrator, on a part time basis.
Daily duties will involve all areas of general Sage bookkeeping, including:
- Banking monies taken (cash)
- Daily Bank Reconciliation
- Petty Cash
- Credit Control
- Purchase Ledger – approx' 80 invoices p/m
- Sales Ledger
- VAT Returns
- Payroll – Monthly
- Submitting pension data - monthly
- Updating finance documents – payment plan, proformas, bank, spreadsheet, bank position spreadsheet, store takings.
- Matching invoices to delivery notes/orders, sorting discrepancies with suppliers.
- Profit & loss, there is a spreadsheet but as Sage is new, might be able to get them to look at that instead.
- Monitoring accounts emails
- Ordering the stationery and other general office administration duties.
- Previous company bookkeeping/accounts experience, ideally covering all areas of general accounting.
- Part/fully AAT qualified or equivalent.
- Some experience of using Sage accounting software would be preferred.
- Flexibility, able to work on-site in Leamington Spa (parking available).
- Able to commence employment ASAP.
