SalaryOur client is an award winning provider of some of the most innovative life and health products on the market today. As part of their continued growth plans, they are seeking to appoint a broker consultant to work with an existing panel of intermediaries within Belfast and surrounding areas.
Your remit will be to develop and grow the panel maximising the business potential from them, in addition to introducing new intermediaries to your panel.
Presently the panel is under performing and as such we require someone who is used to developing relationships with professional clients, therefore to be considered you must have a minimum of 3 years face to face B2B sales experience working within a professional office based environment.
The ability to influence and build credibility within a very competitive marketplace is essential. You will achieve this by establishing a thorough product and technical knowledge of our clients products in addition the ability to get to know their clients business and how best to support them will be essential.
The products are industry leading, and the company name will be known by all. However this does not take away from the fact that as the local Business Development consultant you will need to be proactive in your planning to ensure your panels business is maximised and that networking for new business is at the fore front of what you do on a daily basis.
The basic salary is negotiable dependent upon experience, in addition there is a bonus element to the role. The successful candidate should be seeing a basic plus bonus income in excess of £50,000 in year 2. it is recognised that earning bonus in the first 6 months may be demanding and as such the client will put in place a guarantee to ensure your efforts are both recognised and rewarded.
We are seeking candidates who have related intermediary or B2B sales experience within a face-to-face environment. This role is home based so you must be able work effectively from home and have the drive and determination to plan your own activity. Comprehensive initial and ongoing training will be provided as will all the tools to ensure you can deliver exceptional service to your panel.
This role will suit someone who can deliver bottom line results through proactive planning, product and industry knowledge. You must be hungry to earn and have the ability to network for new clients whilst retaining and maximising existing ones.
