An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, passionate and ambitious teacher to join our team at Owslebury Primary School from 15th April 2024 or sooner if possible. Initially, this post would be teaching a class of 22 delightful children in years 1 and 2, with some flexibility within key stage 2 from September.
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated teacher who:
- Has experience across the primary range and is ready for core subject leadership
- Has a strength in English and would lead English across the school
- Is a high quality practitioner who strives for excellence
- Will embrace our school values: nurture, collaboration, resilience, respect and aspiration; and can demonstrate these fully within their role in school
- Is passionate about children’s learning and ensuring they make good progress
- Thinks creatively and inspires children and colleagues
- Can deliver an exciting, broad and balanced curriculum, bringing learning to life and promoting first-hand, real-life experiences
- Reflects on their own practice and values professional development opportunities
- Develops good relationships and works well as part of a team
- Is prepared to contribute to the wider working of the school beyond their own classroom
