Position Overview:
As a Class Teacher and Year Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading our KS2 cohort, consisting of four classes and up to 120 children in each year group. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic educator to make a lasting impact on the academic and personal development of our children. This role is suitable for an experienced Class Teacher looking for the next challenge in their career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and collaborate with the teaching and support staff team to ensure a cohesive and effective teaching approach.
- Deliver high-quality and engaging lessons, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive and nurturing school community.
- Implement and contribute to the school's curriculum, ensuring alignment with national standards and best practices.
- Monitor and track the progress of KS2 students, providing targeted support and intervention when needed.
- Organise and lead year-group events, activities, and initiatives.
