Hariley Solutions our currently seeking an experienced Commercial Quality Manger to join our client's dynamic team in Telford. Main Responsibilities
- Build and preserve trusting relationships with all customers regarding technical complaints and QA projects through regular meetings.
- Be the first point of contact for all customers regarding complaints.
- Provide a co-ordinated written response to critical complaints within 48 hours liaising with the relevant manufacturing sites or third-parties, as necessary.
- Lead and coordinate with other departments such as production, quality, commercial, procurement, customer services and others to ensure that a complaint is resolved quickly and effectively.
- Follow up with customers to ensure that they are satisfied with the resolution of their complaint.
- Identify key stakeholders within each customer to cultivate relationships that offer opportunities for greater products, technical parameters and profits.
- Forward upselling and cross-selling opportunities to the sales teams and support tender opportunities.
- Analyse data related to customer complaints to identify trends.
- Report this information in regular QA meetings and in conjunction with NPD, innovation and continuous improvement initiatives aim to improve the overall customer experience and product performance.
- Working in conjunction with the Plant Quality Manager to support audit activities.
- Ensure all taxation, legislation and packaging waste directives are adhered to such as plastic packaging tax via involvement in local syndicates such as BPF whilst keeping Sustainability team up to date.
- If requested by local structure, managing a small team might be part of the duties.
- Ensure all customer specifications and technical databases are loaded in a timely manner for launches and are kept fully up-to-date at all times
- Ensure integrity and compliance through product testing utilising internal and external laboratories
- Play a lead role in customer audits, traceability and accreditation audits such as AFNOR, KOMO, Blue Angel, work with key stakeholders across commercial, production, supply chain and quality accordingly.
- Working with key stakeholders facilitate any Corrective Actions Plans following audits ensuring all updates are provided on time and in full to the customer.
