Job Description
- Develop and implement communication strategies that promote the organisation's mission and services.
- Lead the creation of marketing materials and publications.
- Manage the organisation's social media presence to enhance its public image.
- Coordinate public relations events and promotional activities.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies.
- Manage relationships with media outlets and handle press enquiries.
- Provide communications guidance to other departments within the organisation.
- Lead and mentor the communications team to ensure they are aligned with the organisation's goals.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Corporate Communications Manager should have:
- A bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing or a relevant field.
- Proven experience as a Communications Manager or in a similar role within a Not For Profit organisation.
- Excellent leadership and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms for Corporate Communications.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and to lead and inspire others.
