Credit Controller

The role of Credit Controller is crucial for maintaining the financial health of our company within the industry. The successful applicant will manage the credit control process and ensure timely collection of payments in our Accounting & Finance department based in Ystrad Mynach.

Description

• Manage the company's credit control process and ensure timely collection of payments.
• Monitor customer accounts and resolve any payment discrepancies.
• Prepare credit reports for management review.
• Work closely with the sales team to implement credit control procedures.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding their payment terms and credit limits.
• Follow up on overdue accounts and maintain a record of all communication.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Support the Accounting & Finance department with other tasks as needed.

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of credit control procedures and relevant legal requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure.
