Barrhead Travel, The Holiday and Tailor Made Travel Specialists have an exciting opportunity available for a Business Development Manager to join our Cruise Business Development team based in Glasgow City Centre.
The role will lead the commercial relationship between Barrhead Travel and cruise line partners to drive mutual cruise revenue and profit growth. The Business Development Manager will own all aspects of communication with our cruise line partners and will develop short-term and long-term strategies to ensure targets are achieved.

Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed specific set commercial targets.
- Grow cruise revenue and increase profits.
- Manage and maintain relationships with current cruise lines partners.
- Develop new cruise line partners.
- Secure marketing funds for joint marketing campaigns.
- Work alongside internal product and marketing teams to ensure plans are executed and delivered on time and in line with business priorities.
- Deliver reporting on performance to targets and ROI on campaigns.
- Implement new strategies to drive revenue and profit growth.
- Review current market trends.
- Review competitor activity.
- Manage and control budgets.
- Work alongside internal finance team to control invoicing.
- Attending cruise line partner events, meetings, conferences, visits
