An exciting opportunity to join the team at Larne Port for 6 months over the summer season as a Customer Operations Agent (Seasonal) working with colleagues to support our diverse range of customers, with an opportunity to build on and enhance a range of skills including customer service.
About the role:
- To check-in and process all traffic travelling through the Port of Larne (including 3rd party contracts). Both freight and tourist, including accompanied and unaccompanied.
- As part of the team and under instruction from the duty supervisor, organize the loading and unloading of company and customers vessels, optimising ships turn round times.
- Process tourist and freight traffic within agreed configurations for loading, check-in and special needs requirements utilising computerized check-in and loading systems. (PHS)
- To ensure the correct handling of hazardous cargo, high security and abnormal loads, liaising with ship’s officers regarding stowage.

The successful candidate will work 25hours a week and be available to work from May/June onwards. Rate of pay will be £14.87phr inclusive of shift pay. Please note due to the nature of the work being carried out you must be 18 years of age or over.
