COMPANY PROFILE
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for our successful client who are a leader in their industry. As a result of their continued growth, they are seeking a reliable, committed Finance Assistant to join their team.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- 1 years' experience in a finance position
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office packages
- Adaptable and able to work well under pressure
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of sage is beneficial
- Critical thinking skills
- Confident telephone manner
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle daily receivables and accounts payable transactions
- Performing daily bank reconciliations and general maintenance of accounts
- Ensure weekly payment runs are prepared in a timely manner
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all customers
- Contact customers regarding outstanding invoices
- Creating sales invoices
- Ad hoc duties as required to support the finance department
