SalaryWe are recruiting for a Head of Digital Trading to join our rapidly expanding team in Cobra Network. The role would be leading the development of our new E-Trade Portal, Cobra Quote, to achieve the stretching targets we have set ourselves.
Cobra Quote is in its early days and we need an individual who ideally has worked at both an insurer and a large broker, who has an impeccable knowledge of the SME Insurance landscape. The individual should be full of ideas and be able to articulate these at any level in business. The individual should be comfortable working with brokers of all sizes and insurers alike and have the ability to develop an executable strategy that will drive high volumes of business via the Cobra Quote portal.
Cobra Network has more than doubled in size over the last three years and we have ambitious and stretching growth targets for the years ahead so the individual will need high energy and drive to succeed.
Responsibilities:
- Increase the number of brokers using the Cobra Quote Platform
- Increase the amount of business traded electronically via Cobra Quote, without human intervention
- Increase the quotability of risks
- Improve the performance of our panel insurers on the portal
- Optimise rating and risk acceptance in line with our data and that of our insurer partners
- Increase the quote to sales ratio
- Add new products to the platform in line with Group product strategy, member needs and partner insurer strategy
Experience:
- SME Underwriting knowledge built at an insurer
- Acturis E-trading knowledge ideally both insurer AND broker
- Able to tap into a large network within the UK Insurance Market to support Cobra development and the Cobra Members
