Head of HR opportunity working for a leading Care organisation based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. This is a full-time permanent opportunity working onsite based at their Leeds office with some travel required as and when needed across West and South Yorkshire. The role:
- Responsible for managing the operations of their HR services, ensuring exceptional service quality, the development of new initiatives and the maintenance of strong working relationships.
- Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
- Managing the recruitment and selection process.
- Manging onboarding and induction processes.
- Upskilling and managing colleagues within the HR department.
- Lead the HR team, providing guidance, support, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Enforcing company policies and practices.
- Facilitate active succession and development planning for key roles.
- Lead projects in-line with business requirements.
- Drive the development and delivery of training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the HR team, ensuring they are equipped to deliver high-quality services.
Experience required:
- Experience in advising on ER matters including disciplinary and grievance cases, performance management and absence management.
- Experience of leading HR project work streams.
- HR legislative understanding.
- CIPD qualified Level 5 or higher (desirable).
