MCS Group is currently working alongside one of Northern Ireland’s leading organisations to recruit a Head of Marketing.
Reporting to the Director of Commercial Operations, the successful candidate will lead and define marketing activities to ensure that product and services are promoted, their brand awareness is maximised, and brand values are protected.
You will work closely alongside the Head of Customer Experience, the corporate communications team, and operational managers to ensure that customers have a seamless and consistent experience with their services and facilities.
Core Responsibilities:
- Define and develop the Corporate Marketing Strategy
- Define and drive forward the Corporate and Operational Brands through the effective use of the internal marketing team, brand & advertising agencies, social media team and wider company resources
- Design, develop, implement and evaluate strategies and tactical plans for marketing activities to promote their services
- Working closely with the digital team to ensure the brands are promoted, and design and implement an e-commerce strategy for key products and services to promote a modern, online sales and booking channel
- Develop, manage and evaluate marketing programmes to build the corporate and key operational brands including the use of through-the-line consumer advertising campaigns, online activity, digital activity, partnerships, brand communications/PR and targeted promotions
- Create and implement innovative, deliverable, costed and measurable annual marketing plans for each of the corporate brands and products to achieve corporate plan patronage and revenue objectives
- Provide meaningful and regular business performance analysis and commentary up to Senior Execuitve level, to help strengthen the commercial position of the organisation and to facilitate the corporate planning process
- Manage and control departmental budget, implement and control safety management activity, actively participate in all staff development and ensure appropriate systems are in place to manage all key responsibilities
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience operating at Senior Management level in a marketing or business development role
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent in a business or marketing related discipline
- Experience of developing brand strategy and managing multi-media campaigns with substantial expenditure
- Experience of managing budgets
- Experience of managing a multi-person team
- A proven ability to lead and manage multi-disciplined projects
