Head of Marketing
My client is a well-established and leading organisation based in Belfast, who are currently seeking an experienced Head of Marketing to join their team.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent Position.
Hours of work: (37 hours per week). Monday to Thursday 09.00 to 17.30, Friday 09.00 to 14.00
Hybrid working (minimum two days in the office)
Closing Date: Friday 29th March at 12 noon
Job Role:
You will be responsible for leading and defining the marketing activities to ensure that products and services are effectively promoted, brand awareness is maximized, brand values are protected and grow revenues. You will work closely with the Head of Customer Experience, Corporate Communications Team, and front-line Operational Managers to ensure that customers have a seamless consistent experience of the brand across all services and facilities.
Essential Criteria:
- At least 5 years’ experience operating at a Senior Management level in a marketing or business development role.
- Educated to Degree level, or equivalent, in a business or marketing discipline.
- Experience of developing brand strategy and managing multi-media campaigns with substantial expenditure.
- Demonstrable experience of managing budgets.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Good relationship management skills with experience of managing a multi person team.
- A proven ability to lead and manage multi-disciplined projects.
Desirable Criteria:
- Chartered Marketer/ MCIM/FCIM status.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Define and develop the Corporate Marketing Strategy, ensuring it aligns to the key pillars of the corporate strategy, and champion its implementation throughout the business.
- Define and drive forward the Corporate and Operational Brands through the effective use of the internal marketing team, brand and advertising agencies, social media team and wider resources.
- Design, develop, implement, and evaluate strategies and tactical plans for marketing activities to promote revenue growth and modal shift.
- Work with the Customer Experience function to initiate and design a programme of market and customer research to underpin corporate and marketing business decisions.
- Working with the Customer Experience function and Operational Management to ensure that marketing and promotional activity is effectively implemented across services and facilities and that the customer journey is consistent and aligned with Brand values and expectations.
- Working closely with the digital team to ensure the Brands are promoted and design and implement an e-commerce strategy for key services and products to provide a modern, on-line sales and booking channel.
- Develop, manage, and evaluate marketing programmes to build the corporate and key operational brands including the use of through-the-line consumer advertising campaigns, on-line activity, digital activity, partnerships, brand communications/PR and targeted promotions.
- Create and implement innovative, deliverable, costed and measurable annual marketing plans for each of the corporate brands and products to achieve corporate plan patronage and revenue objectives.
- Provide meaningful and regular business performance analysis and commentary, up to Senior Executive level, to help strengthen the commercial position of the organisation and to facilitate the corporate planning process.
