Your new role
The Head of Marketing is pivotal in leading and defining the company’s marketing activities, maximising brand awareness, and driving customer engagement and revenues. This role offers significant day-to-day freedom to manage and be innovative. You will work closely with the Chief Executive and the Director of Commercial Operations to develop and define the overall corporate marketing strategy. You will engage with the wider Senior leadership and Executive team, and maintain close relations with key stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Define and develop the Corporate Marketing Strategy, aligning it with the corporate strategy.
- Drive forward the Corporate and Operational Brands using internal and external resources.
- Design and implement strategies for marketing activities to promote customer and revenue growth.
- Initiate and design a programme of market and customer research to underpin business decisions.
- Ensure that marketing and promotional activity is effectively implemented across services and facilities.
- Work closely with the digital team to promote the Brands and design an e-commerce strategy.
- Develop and manage marketing programmes to build the corporate and key operational brands.
- Create and implement innovative, deliverable, costed, and measurable annual marketing plans.
- Provide meaningful business performance analysis and commentary to strengthen the commercial position of the organisation.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage and control the departmental budget, implement safety management activity, and participate in staff development.
What you'll need to succeed
- You will have at least 5 years’ experience operating at a Senior Management level in a marketing or business development role.
- You will be educated to Degree level, or equivalent, in a business or marketing discipline.
- Experience of developing brand strategy and managing multimedia campaigns with substantial expenditure is essential.
- You will also have experience of managing budgets and a multi-person team, and a proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplined projects.
