We’re looking for the very best talent to join us at this exciting time in our journey, as we continue to strengthen our market leader position by providing an even better customer experience. We are looking for a Head of Operations to lead and develop the Flooring Solutions operations.
The main focus of the role will be to optimise operational efficiency, compliance, training team members and delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities will include:
- Provide direct line management to all Flooring Solutions SCMs; leading, motivating, developing, and supporting their individual business.
- Deliver sustained growth and profitability of the business unit through operational and service excellence.
- Develop and execute strategies to optimise fulfillment operations, ensuring efficient order fulfilment, assets management and optimum customer journey.
- Maximise the full potential of the company’s assets.
- Optimise fleet utilisation and promoting reliability, availability and ease (RAE) to our Customers.
- Optimise order fulfilment through collaboration with business stakeholders and internal teams.
- P&L control through managing overheads (assets, people, and vehicles) in line with current and future revenue forecasts.
- Ensure audit compliance with Performance Standards regulations and company policies, including the timely management of non-compliances.
- Adhere to and promote all health and safety compliance standards and ensure all employees do the same to generate a safe working environment.
- Foster and build a team environment where all colleagues work towards one goal, improving communication between the sites.
The successful candidate will have a track record of delivering business improvement and change in a national company and a proven track record in customer service at the highest level. Additionally, they will need to be able to give regular updates on the challenges in the business, risks to revenue and opportunities that have been identified.
