This role will sit at the intersection between our customers, our product, and the brand. Acting as the bridge between our Product teams and our Marketing Channels, this role is responsible for owning the campaign planning process, from seasonal marketing briefs and category propositions to the go-live channel executions. Aligning our product USPs, with market and trend insights, building on key product, calendar, and customer moments.
The purpose of this role is to drive fame for Boden in key markets, translating our brand and product vision into a marketing strategy to support engagement, brand visibility and sales.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the end-to-end campaign process from planning to execution, ensuring a balance of storytelling and selling, key category strategies and propositions that align to our goals and ensure sufficient marketing coverage for key big buy products.
- Own and execute the Boden marketing calendar and ensure its successful and seamless implementation to the business.
- Work closely with product development teams, to understand the range architecture, concepting, archetypes, and product attributes.
- Play a key role in shaping Boden’s communication strategy, driving performance through increased sales to more customers, establishing Boden as a go-to, top of mind brand.
- Collaborate with creative teams to influence the creation of innovative, best-in-class content, brand initiatives and campaigns, that will set us apart from the rest of the market and address the pain points and needs of our customers.
- Conduct competitor analysis, as well as tracking key category & market trends, identifying key learnings and opportunities for Boden.
- Be a key stakeholder in channel performance and trade meetings, ensuring the needs of Product and brand are conveyed to channels and any reactive requests are actioned.
- Work closely with the channel owners and analytics teams to report on campaign performance, and own delivering quarterly hindsight reports across the teams.
- Be proficient in analysing and interpreting market & retail data, communicating key take outs effectively across the teams.
- Deliver tailored strategic plans based on data and insights, inclusive of Product pricing, promotional, and merchandising optimisation.
- Engage the insights teams to understand our customer segments, market dynamics and competitive landscape alongside the customer needs for each product (how they differ across categories, and how they differ for new vs existing customers) ensuring all insight is used to make informed decisions on the marketing strategy for growth and engagement.
- Scope brand partnerships which will enable us to drive business growth align with our goals and complement our campaigns.
- Manage and develop the wider team on the ownership of technical briefs, throughout the briefing process and in delivering best-in-class campaign concepts.
- Support the Director of Brand Marketing to drive the brand-vision, whilst implementing simplified processes and ways of working.
THE EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Fashion / Retail background with an interest in the competitive landscape.
- Extensive knowledge in understanding consumer needs within the retail environment.
- An understanding of marketing channels, techniques, and tools (PPC, Email, Social, SEO, PR) and an interest in data and insight.
- Commercial understanding to inform marketing strategies.
- An understanding of the buying and merchandising range architecture.
- Experience working across multiple markets: an understanding of the US consumer is particularly valuable.
