Autism Initiatives is committed to working in partnership with the People Supported, their families, commissioners and others to provide a specialist, autism specific, person centred and outcome focused service for people with autism spectrum conditions and other associated learning disabilities.All staff are expected to:Work in the context of Autism Initiatives’ Vision, Mission and Philosophy.Work to develop their abilities in line with the Autism Initiatives Competency Training and Support Systems.Adhere to the Autism Initiatives’ Professional Code of Conduct and the NI Social Care Council’s Code of Practice (NISCC), showing a high degree of professionalism, resilience, and a willingness to remain committed during particularly demanding times.The post will be based in Central office; however they will be required, from time to time, to travel to Autism Initiatives services, throughout Northern Ireland and other, as directed by their line manager.You will work as part of the HR team in providing a professional, high quality and timely, customer focused, Human Resource service, by providing administration support to the HR department. Responsible for providing an efficient, timely, comprehensive and confidential administration support for all aspects of the HR function as required.To promote Autism Initiatives equal opportunities policies and practices and to work within Autism Initiatives code of professional conduct, policies and procedures and the mission, vision, values and aims and objectives of the organisation, at all times.Duties and responsibilities will be subject to change. Generally the Temporary HR Administrator will be responsible for providing a comprehensive, efficient and confidential administration support to the HR team, on all aspects of the HR function. This includes but is not limited to: Recruitment, Access NI, NISCC (Northern Ireland Social Care Council), Absence, Performance management, updating employee files, the HR system and managing employee incentives..

GCSE English and Maths at grades C or above, or equivalent.Working knowledge within a HR department.Strong administration skills, can demonstrate good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet use.Can demonstrate good customer-focused skills, the ability to work as part of a team and using your own initiative.Ability to prioritise work, achieve deadlines and manage your work time effectively within defined standards.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and good interpersonal and customer focused skills.Flexibility in relation to problem solving and duties and in relation to the willingness to learn.Willing to adapt as the role develops.Tact and diplomacy skills. , CIPD, or HR/Business related qualification is desirable.Working knowledge of Recruitment and Selection processes.Knowledge of Human Resources databases, including SAGE or other.
