Belfast / Permanent / Full Time

Working Hours:  40-hour week    

Salary Range: £24,000 - £27,000 depending on experience

Plus benefits including 35 days paid holidays, employer pension contribution, free parking, medicash, income protection, Vitality cover, referral programme.

Full Circle Generation (FCG) is a gasification plant situated in Belfast’s Harbour Estate and can recover energy form 160,000mT of refuse derived fuel each year.  FCG owns and operates the gasification plant and supplies power to the Spirit Aerospace complex and to the NI Grid.

About The Role

We are currently seeking a Purchasing and Office Administrator to join our teamThe Purchasing and Office Administrator duties will be an integral part of our plant operations, supporting engineers in sourcing suppliers and managing purchasing activities while also handling various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the office environment. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.

To be successful in this role, we believe our ideal candidate will need to meet the essential criteria.

Required Criteria

  • 1 year’s previous purchasing or administration experience within a busy office environment.
  • A strong understanding of purchasing processes, including supplier sourcing, negotiations, and managing purchase orders.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Fully proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with purchasing software or ERP systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Desired Criteria

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience gained within a plant / engineering company.
