HR Advisor - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

We are currently representing a prestigious client in the professional services sector who are seeking a professional HR Advisor to join their team on a fixed-term contract. This role is essential for providing interim support during a period of maternity leave. The successful candidate will be based in state-of-the-art offices in Winnersh Triangle, with a hybrid working arrangement once probation is passed.
Role Overview
The HR Advisor will work closely with the HR Manager to deliver comprehensive HR support across the organisation. This role is integral to maintaining seamless HR operations and contributing to strategic HR initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the HR Manager to refine and execute key HR workstreams.
- Provide robust HR support across two locations, ensuring effective HR processes and administration.
- Facilitate the implementation of people and performance management practices to enhance team performance.
- Participate in consultations, supporting both formal and informal HR processes.
- Manage payroll communications and queries efficiently.
- Contribute to strategic HR projects, such as conducting Staff Surveys.
- Address employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance matters.
- Maintain meticulous HR administrative records.
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a generalist HR role.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- CIPD level 3 qualification or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in an SME is advantageous.
