Our client has an exciting opportunity for an HR Advisor to join their professional services organisation. The role requires someone who can act as a key point of contact for employees and partners by providing generalist HR advice and guidance, helping to achieve and maintain a positive team culture where people want to work and enjoy working.
The role
Recruiting and On-Boarding
- Provide end to end recruitment process:
o Advertising vacancies
o Developing relationships with recruitment agencies
o Interview arrangement and attending
o Offers of employment
o Produce letters and contracts
Employee Relations
- Building relationships across the business
- Provide advice and guidance across the business
- Manage employee case work and change management programmes
- Support long term absence management
Payroll
- Manage pay related changes
- Liaise with payroll administrator
- Provide support to the HR Administrator to maintain the benefits system
Graduate Scheme
- Assist with the annual summer vacation placements
- Support the trainee graduate recruitment process
Learning and Development
- Support the Performance and Development Review process
- Support the maintenance of the Career Development Frameworks
- Support the Leadership Development Programme
- Support the Learning Management System
- Support with training bookings
Other
- Deliver and support on People projects
- Produce people reports and analysing data
- Provide support with updating HR policies and procedures
- Keep up to date with current employment legislation and HR best practice
Requirements
- A level or equivalent
- Desirable - Graduate CIPD or working towards qualification
- Exceptionally organised with a keen eye for detail
- Able to manage varied workload with multiple deadlines
- Experience of On-boarding/Induction process
- Experienced in ER work and Employment Law
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Office 365
- Understanding the professional sector would be beneficial but not essential
