We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join a local business in this is a newly created role. Reporting to the Finance Director, this will be a standalone role working 2 days a week. As the HR Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for all people related queries. You will ensure the smooth, efficient, and effective delivery of all aspects of people policies, processes and procedures. The role:
- Oversee the recruitment, onboarding and induction of employees
- Be responsible for ensuring that all appropriate checks are completed in a timely and efficient manner including Right to Work and DBS checks.
- Provide support and prompts to managers to ensure compliance with agreed practice, e.g probationary reviews, appraisals.
- Support the resolution of employee relations issues, advising and guiding line managers on the appropriate actions.
- Regularly review and revise people policies and procedures and support with implementing new policies and procedures.
- Support the line managers to identify training and development requirements for employees.
- CIPD Level 5 Human Resources qualification.
- 3 years experience in a similar HR role/s
- Demonstrable experience of working within HR best practices and employment legislation
