SalaryReed Human Resources are recruiting a HR Compliance Manager for a prestigious Educational Establishment in London.
The team consists of the HR Director, HR Manager, 1 HR Advisor, 1 HR Administrator, 1 HR and Recruitment Administrator and the Head of DEI - and now this newly created role.
The HR team are responsible for the provision of an efficient HR service including:
Providing generalist HR advice, guidance, and support to all staff across the organisation, including advising on HR policies and procedures such as recruitment & selection, employee benefits, performance management, employee relations, training and development, absence management etc.
Reporting to the Director of HR, the HR Compliance Manager will be responsible for managing all compliance requirements within HR.
You will have overall responsibility for all employment checks carried out by the team and the maintenance of the single Central Register so that they are always ready for inspection.
Ensure Compliance obligations are met throughout the employee administration process.
Ensure all legal documents produced by the HR department are complaint, including contracts of employment, employee documents etc.
Provide advice and guidance to the HR team as/when legislation changes.
Ensure that all mandatory safeguarding training is effectively administered by HR as required by the DSL.
Ensure the GDPR requirements are met within HR as requires by the organisation GDPR policy.
Conduct regular HR audits to monitor compliance levels and identify areas for improvement.
Take overall responsibility for HR related assessments.
Provide generalist HR support on HR operational activity including recruitment, employee relations etc as required.
Take on HR Projects as directed by the HR Directors
Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the Director of HR
Deputise for the Director of HR, on compliance matters as required.
Reflect and consider the organisations vision and values when delivering a HR service to the organisation's community.
Please note this role is based onsite 5 days per week.
