Description of the role:
- Oversee all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, on boarding, training, performance management, and employee relations.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs to support organisational goals and promote a positive work culture.
- Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, providing guidance, support, and ongoing development opportunities.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs, create job descriptions, and facilitate the hiring process.
- Conduct training sessions on various HR topics, such as diversity and inclusion, conflict resolution, and leadership development.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale, retention, and overall satisfaction.
- Manage employee relations issues with fairness, empathy, and professionalism, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Analyse HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic solutions.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR management, incorporating new ideas and innovations into practices.
About you:
- CIPD Level 5 qualified or above
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on people management and leadership.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust at all levels of the organisation.
- Proven leadership abilities, including team building, coaching, and performance management.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement HR initiatives that align with business objectives.
