Hr Manager

Role: HR Manager
Location: SL3 0HQ

This role is to take full ownership and management of the day to day running of this busy, fast paced HR department. This is a hands-on role to ensure the efficient, processing of all transit cargo and logistics operations including setting & managing both KPI's & Budgets, all administrative and resource duties whilst taking into account full compliance of regulations relating to customs and bonded procedures.

1. To provide a timely and accurate transit/logistics warehouse service.
2. Achieve full compliance with Import ETSF (ERTS) arrangements, Aviation Security including X-ray, AEO and Customs.
3. Regularly review existing workloads to ensure processes are fit for purpose.
4. Question and promote ideas for change bringing a fresh outlook to the team.
5. Drive operational changes and manage staff through this
6. Supply on time and accurate Bond check completion.
7. Setting of Margins and overhead budgets to report to the board.
8. To ensure that all relevant information and training is given and to ensure that everyone is aware of the business' targets.
9. Comply with all core measurable KPI's
10. Financial housekeeping, purchase matching, timely invoicing etc
11. To be able to motivate staff to deliver outstanding service levels at all times.
12. Ensure that work is completed and executed to a high standard and work within tight timeframes
13. Managing people on a daily basis - including daily debriefs/coaching and driving standards upwards
14. Managing HR processes including absence-management, 121's, employee engagement and performance improvement
15. KPI management experience
16. An experienced and proven manager of people working in a Warehouse and Transport environment, ideally with ETSF experience and Regulated status
17. Able to work shift patterns that may include weekends, evenings and bank holidays
18. Planning and budgetary experience
19. Innovative and Continuous Improvement focused, able to apply strategy to operations effectively driving change through the team
20. A great all-round team player, able to roll up your sleeve and get involved in all areas of Operational Management as required
21. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
22. Numerate with attention to detail & excellent organisational skills
23. Good time management and able to work under pressure
24. Experience of managing HR processes including absence-management, 121's, employee engagement and performance improvement

Ensure total compliance with all HR, Legal, Liability, Health and Safety, Security & Quality whilst overall ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
