This Harrogate-based organisation is a well-respected institution within the not-for-profit sector. With a medium-sized workforce, the company is dedicated to making a difference and fostering a positive impact in the community. This role can be considered on a 4 or 5 day per week basis and operate in a hybrid model.
Job Description
The role will also be responsible for the management of the wider HR team and day to day HR operations, along with leading on key HR projects.
- Reporting into a HR Director, you will oversee all HR operations within the organisation.
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and other issues.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- work closely with SLT and provide decision support through HR metrics
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate should have:
- Available to start ASAP/before April 2024.
- Proven working experience in Human Resources
- Previous line management experience.
- Experience of working in a charity/school/not-for-profit settings would be ideal!
- Positive, enthusiastic, people-oriented and results-driven mentality.
- Demonstrable experience with HR metrics.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
