Are you an experienced and passionate IT professional or a junior/recent graduate looking to pursue a career in IT Support? We are working closely with a good client based in Rochdale who is seeking a dedicated IT Support Engineer / Helpdesk Technician to join their expanding IT Support team.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing IT support both over the phone and face to face. This will be on a variety of IT applications/systems for all employees both at Head Office and at their manufacturing and warehousing sites in Rochdale and Bury.
My client is a major manufacturer and supplier of automotive products, and they have a global presence. This is a great opportunity to join an established and reputable company that can offer job security and further career progression.
Daily duties will include:
- Providing remote and on-site technical support assisting users with various IT issues;
- Installing, maintaining and troubleshooting third party software products;
- Installing new equipment such as desktop computers, laptops, tablets and mobile phones;
- Supporting staff on the use of Windows and Office 365.
There will also be opportunities for further development & training.
Essential
- UK driving license
Who you are:
- Customer service skills and a passion for delivering quality support.
- Trouble shooting skills
- Previous working experience in IT support.
- Working knowledge of Windows 10, Mac OS, and Office 365.
- ERP\WMS experience would be advantageous
- Experience of diagnosing PC Hardware and operating systems
