About Our Client
IT Support Technician - Skelmersdale - Initial 3 month contract
Our client is a large-scale industrial/manufacturing company based in Skelmersdale. Employing over a thousand individuals across various departments, the company is known for its commitment to technology and innovation.
Job Description
Key responsibilities include;
- Provide first-line support for all user IT issues.
- Log all IT service desk requests and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
- Assist in maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.
- Coordinate with the technology team to implement IT solutions.
- Conduct regular system tests to ensure functionality and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain IT documentation, including user guides and IT policies.
- Participate in IT projects as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful IT Technician team member should have:
- Excellent knowledge of Windows 10 or above, and competent in using Microsoft Office 365 or above, and a range of web browsers
- Exposure to Citrix Environment is advantageous
- Good working knowledge of Active Directory
- Microsoft In-Tune and Android/iPhone management
- Deploying Windows client images from Gold builds
- Utilisation of remote deployment and management tools
- Embrace Information Security at all user levels.
