Media Officer Intern

The Sapphire Community Group seeks to help young people find out what they are meant to
do in life. We aim to do this through mentoring, coaching, publishing literature, film and
media, through multiple events, technological development and hosting workshops.

We are seeking a Media Officer Intern to join our team on a flexible basis (20 – 32 hours per week). Please note this role is remote and unpaid.

Responsibilites include but not limited to:

• Creating lesson plans regarding your expertise

• Planning, preparing and delivering lessons

• Teaching how to create media content

• Safeguarding young people

• Attending staff briefings

• Collaborating with parents, carers, guardian, support workers and other professionals

• Ensuring the highest standards of quality and applying the most up-to-date teaching methods.

• Assessing and reporting on the behaviour of students when necessary
