Medical Receptionist (25 Hrs Pw)

My Client Linen Court Surgery based in East Belfast are seeking a part-time Medical receptionist to join our friendly team on a permanent basis. They are looking for someone who is well organised and able to work effectively as part of a team to provide excellent patient focused care.

Duties

• Dealing with patient enquiries both over the phone and face to face in a friendly and efficient manner
• Processing prescription requests and scheduling appointments
• Maintaining patient records and ensuring they remain accurate and up to date
• Providing support to the clinical team in meeting the needs of the Practice
• Routine administrative duties relevant to the position

Criteria

• Previous experience in a medical or similar administrative role is preferred
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Education to GCSE level or equivalent and computer literacy preferred
• A clear understanding of the need for discretion and confidentiality at all times with regards to patients and colleagues
• Working in a small team flexibility will be expected to cover periods of sickness and staff leave

up to 25 hours per week – Monday 8am – 1pm, Tuesday & Thursday 8am – 6pm

Salary £11.50 per hour
