Role: National Onsite Customer Support
Location: England Central/East (ideally Sheffield or surrounding towns/ cities)
ABOUT THE ROLE –
- Deputise at any time for all members of an Onsite Customer Operations team through to and including the manager’s position.
- Ensure that sales orders are promptly loaded onto the systems at acceptable margin levels, savings achievement, and customer delivery requirements
- Ensure that purchase orders are promptly loaded onto the systems utilising established preferred sources of supply where possible
- Ensure that reporting team members have clearly defined tasks and objectives and that they deliver the required standards of performance.
- Research and identify supply options where preferred suppliers have not been previously determined or cannot supply within required timescales
- Maintain and establish strong customer relationships
- To travel to and from Customer sites across the UK
- Regular staying away from home required – location all dependent on site with required support
- Please note we have support staff based across the UK and will endeavour to keep staff as close to home as possible, BUT, this is a role that requires national coverage
Working hours:
Mon - Fri: 8am- 5pm
Breaks: 1 hour
Weekly hours: 40

ABOUT YOU –
- Knowledge and proficiency with systems. i.e. SAP, Excel
- Previous experience in the engineering industry is desirable but not essential
- Willing to travel across the UK
- Potential staying away from home Monday – Friday
- Managerial and/ or team lead experience
- Located in Central East England (ideally Sheffield or surrounding towns/ cities)
