We’re currently seeking a talented individual to join our amazing National Careers Service team as an Operations Manager.
You’ll need to be an exemplar leader, applying a range of management and leadership skills to optimise positive performance. You’ll be able to inspire, motivate and lead teams to achieve high-performance.
You’ll also develop, embed and manage key relationships with subcontractors and partners delivering the ‘National Careers Service’ throughout the South West

In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we’re offering a competitive salary range £56,000 to £60,000 p.a. (dependent on experience) with these great benefits:

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the National Careers Service in your area, with full accountability to deliver to contractual performance requirements and achieving budgetary expectations.
- Responsibility for ensuring that Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and all contractual requirements for delivery of your contract in your geographical area are met and/or exceeded.
- Lead, inspire, motivate, and coach your teams to ensure that an excellent level of quality and compliance with contractual and accrediting bodies standards is achieved.
- Managing Profit and Loss reports and monthly financial forecasting.
- Representing Seetec as a major CIAG provider at events, speaking at conferences, seminars, and workshops

Skills and Experience
Essential
- Experience in delivering high performance outputs on a range of contracts via geographically dispersed teams.
- Experience of delivering payment by results contracts and services to meet rigorous contractual and quality standards.
- Experience in a senior operational management capacity.
Desirable
- Experience of Ofsted framework, inspections and requirements
- Experience of using management information to drive Continuous Improvement.
- Experience of successful delivery of employability and skills programmes.
- Understanding of the skills industry and the challenges faced in the employment market for newly unemployed people who may not have searched for work for many years.
- Full driving licence to enable deployment across a number of teams, according to need
