A commercial surveying business based in Wigan is actively recruiting for an Office Administrator to join their growing team, this is due to team development. This role will involve supporting colleagues and directors within the office and working as part of a team, this role is office-based. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, but can offer flexible working hours for the right candidate.
Your new role
As Office Administrator, your duties will include audio typing, answering incoming calls, screening, and passing calls and taking messages, filing and record keeping. You will be expected to help and support colleagues, therefore working closely with different departments to ensure work is completed efficiently and correctly, within a timely manner.
This role will also include use of social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and IT in-house data base therefore, a good level of IT knowledge is included, alongside standard Microsoft packages, in particular Word and Excel.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you should have previous experience within audio typing, administration and an excellent telephone manner with a desire to help others.
Along with excellent attention to detail and a good level of written / typing and verbal skills. Previous experience of office and secretarial support, including switchboard and reception duties are desirable, however you must have a positive and proactive approach to teamwork and support others.

In return, you will be paid up to 23,000+ depending on experience and working hours, along with 25 days of annual leave, plus bank.
