Who is White Mills Marina?
Before we get down to the nitty gritty job details – let us introduce ourselves. White Mills Marina is an award winning 141 berth inland Marina, situated on lock 9 of the River Nene in Northamptonshire.
What are we looking for?
We are seeking an enthusiastic Office Administrator to join our small, dedicated team. The role will be supporting our Marina Manager in the day-to-day running of White Mills Marina.
The ideal crew member will be excellent at communication, extremely organised, highly literate and numerate, have a ‘can-do attitude’ and be able to quickly build a rapport with people. No previous experience of marinas is required, however is preferred. Previous administrative experience is essential.
Main job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
· Serving customers
· Answering the phone and responding to email enquiries
- Paying and raising invoices
- Provide tours of the marina
- Booking in campers and overnight moorers
- Cashing up
- Stock checks
- Refuelling boats
- Maintaining the marina system
- Supporting the social media marketing campaigns / advertisement
- Be able to manage their time effectively and be proactive
- To represent the best interests of marina developments at all times
Requirements:
· Previous administration experience is essential
· Must be over 18 years old
· Good knowledge of outlook, excel and word
· Excellent customer service skills
