Join Macquarie’s Upstream team in London as a Vice President. In this position, you will be part of a team that provides structured funding solutions to the upstream energy resources sector for asset and corporate acquisitions, project developments and general corporate leverage.

What role will you play?
You will be responsible for originating, structuring and delivering / managing complex transactions as part of a team specialising in the provision of finance (primarily structured debt, reserve-based lending, prepayments, etc) to upstream oil & gas companies, focused on Europe, the Middle East and Africa region.
Your main activities will involve transaction origination, structuring, risk assessment, negotiation, documentation & ongoing deal/relationship management post close.
What you offer
- Ideally you will have some sales and origination experience preferably gained in a utility, energy major, research unit or a financial institution.
- Knowledge of upstream oil and gas would be useful. A detailed understanding of financial modelling / MS Excel is critical.
- A Masters level degree in a relevant subject with a focus on numerical analysis, although this is not essential.
