SalaryThe Red Kite is a popular cafe in the heart of Abbeyhill, serving fresh, homemade brunch and lunch to our loyal customers. Almost all of what we served is created in house including our Quiche, Frittata and brioche and foccacia.
As our Chef, you will be responsible for delivering the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and maintaining food safety standards. If you have a passion for delivering delicious, well-presented food then we'd love to hear from you.
We are seeking a Chef to work on a Part-time basis, joining a talented and passionate kitchen team 2-3 shifts per week. There would also be the opportunity to pick up extra shifts to cover holidays etc.
A minimum of 1 year experience working in a professional kitchen setting is required - without this, you will not be considered.
The hourly rate for this role will start from £12 p/h although this can be negotiated depending on experience and you'll get an equal share of the tips.
