Your new companyYou will be working for a manufacturing company local to Southampton who are actively seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk as a result of restructuring.Your new role
- Oversee the Purchase Ledger process ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices
- Deliver process improvements
- Prepare weekly payment runs
- Deal with escalated queries
- Match invoices to purchase order receipts
- Send invoices for approval and monitor responses in line with internal approval limits
- Electronically file invoices, credit notes, delivery notes and approvals
- Supplier statement reconciliations
What you'll need to succeed
- Prior experience within a Purchase Ledger role
- Experience working within a small finance department
- Managing a high number of invoices daily
